Does Lemonade cover dental care?
Partly. Dental illness coverage is not in Lemonade’s base policy: it is a separate optional add-on you stack on top. Accident damage to teeth claims under the core accident and illness policy, but if dental disease coverage matters to you, either budget for the add-on or compare insurers that include dental illness by default, such as Fetch in our lineup.

Base policy versus add-on
Our review describes Lemonade as having the most a-la-carte add-on menu among the insurers we track, and dental illness is one of those separate pieces, alongside wellness, behavioral conditions, physical therapy, vet visit fees and end-of-life expenses. The base price stays low partly because these are optional.
Core policy terms still apply to whatever is covered: $100-$750 deductibles, 70/80/90% reimbursement, limits to $100,000, illness waiting at 14 days.
Where competitors include dental
Fetch covers dental disease in its base policy rather than selling it separately, per our reviews. If dental illness is your priority and you would rather not stack add-ons, compare Fetch against a fully loaded Lemonade configuration before deciding.
